Top 5 Best Covers of Drake’s “Hotline Bling”

0

Drake released the single “Hotline Bling” on July 31, 2015 and it hasn’t left the music charts since. The wacky music video released with him kept the single on the charts for an extended period of time. “Hotline Bling” never reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart due to stiff competition from Justin Bieber and Adele. Still, it was a pretty big feeling and still is. If you want to download the original song, it’s on iTunes and Amazon.

As with many hit singles, covers have exploded on YouTube for “Hotline Bling” and we’ve filtered out some of the best and most creative covers for you. Take a look below.

05) Cover by Daniela Andrade

It’s so good. I’m not sure if it deserves a higher place on this list, but it’s gone. Daniela super slowmoed this track and the only music being guitar adds a nice touch to her accented voice.

04) Cover by Ceresia

Wow, 1000 points for creativity. Ceresia completely remade the original Drake track and rocked it to a female perspective. So it’s basically a remix cover, and we’re in love. His voice and music work perfectly in sync for this cover. You can even download this remix from iTunes and support its amazing music.

03) Megan Davies cover

If you follow JustRandomThings, you know that I am a fan of acoustic music. The same goes for acoustic covers, as they are quite difficult to achieve successfully. And Megan Davies did a very impressive creation with this acoustic cover of “Hotline Bling” with a little help from Luke Preston.

02) Cover by Conor Maynard

I didn’t know that Conor Mayanrd, being a professional artist and everything, had done so many covers on YouTube. So it was as surprising as it was fun when I came across this cover of “Hotline Bling” by Conor Maynard. It sneaks into a little “Can’t Feel My Face” by The Weeknd towards the end of the cover, which took us to second place.

01) Cover by William Singe

One of the best and hottest cover designers on YouTube steals our hearts to win the best “Hotline Bling” cover from Drake. The quasi-acoustic track gave us chills. Her professional vocals, tunes, and rhythms all help produce a stunning replica of the original song, but with a unique twist.

What do you think? Do you think they are the best? If not, feel free to comment on your pick of the best “Hotline Bling” covers and we’ll even consider remaking our list if we think your choices deserve a spot here.

Besides these amazing videos, there are other cool covers made by famous people. Just for fun, we’ve listed them below. Take a look at them too.

Justin Bieber cover

Drake and Justin Bieber are as big as thieves. Drake brought JB into the game and he’s paying homage with this remix.

Cover by Charlie Puth & Kehlani

And then there’s this blanket. Charlie Puth and Kehlani make a unique spin on the track produces this acoustic track. Their two voices are amazing and they sync up perfectly on this cover.

Sam Smith cover

And then comes Sam Smith. It’s quite the deviation from his usual Soul music, but it still works perfectly. Disclosure joins him on the music for the track and it’s a nice change.
