Sub Urban – INFERNO Ft. Bella Poarch | Review

0

Sub Urban recruits the all new Bella Poarch in a new song and a new music video called “Inferno”. The dark and pop combination of the song is a whole different vibe as they sing their version of a terrible real-life experience.

Bella Poarch entered the music scene with her single “Build a B * tch” following her popularity on TikTok and other social media. “Inferno” is part of Sub Urban’s debut studio album, which has no title yet.

The video for “Inferno” recruits many popular social media figures such as TommyInnit, Ludwig, Disguised Toast, Adin Ross, fuslie, QuarterJade, Ivana Alawi, Staryuuki, CouRageJD, Pokimane, Valkyrae, starsmitten, LilyPichu, yvonnie, TinaKitten and Bretman Rock, who are also Bella’s friends.

Upon releasing the song, Bella Poarch took to YouTube to share her real-life experience that inspired the song;

As a victim of sexual assault, this song and video mean a lot to me. This is something that I have not yet been ready to share with you. It’s very difficult for me to talk about it. But I am ready now. I decided to express myself by creating a song and video with Sub Urban based on how I wanted my experience to go. It’s a fantasy I wish I had been true. I look forward to sharing this with all of you.

In the story of this song, two men have Bella Poarch’s drink in the lobby of a hotel. She consumes the drink and loses her inhibitions. She is then carried away by two men in an elevator as she unconsciously follows them. Up to this point, the story probably followed Bella’s real-life experience. Then comes the way Bella wanted things to go. In the clip, she manifests demonic powers and decimates the two men who tried to take advantage of her.

No halo
Baby I’m the reason hell is so hot
Hell

Bella wishes she didn’t have a halo around her head – an angel symbol. Instead, she wishes she had devil horns so that she could stand up to her bullies and anyone who tries to take advantage of her. Bella Poarch tries to send a positive message in this song. I hope this song and video will give courage and strength to anyone who needs it.
