Meaning of “Reckless” lyrics and review of the song
Madison Beer has no emotion saying this is a story she hates to talk about. She knows it breaks her every time to remember this story. But she lays her soul bare for the world. Maybe opening up about it could be the first step in the healing process.
“Reckless” tells a story as old as time. She falls in love with a guy. He tells her that he loves her and that he would never love anyone else. But the opposite is happening. The girl is shattered into a million pieces.
The sad part was that his friends could see right through him. But she believes him and defends him. At the end of the day, not only is she heartbroken, but she also looks like a jerk.
Love is blind and you have to check it three times before embarking on a commitment. It avoids a lot of heartache. But, of course, life is not that simple. It does not always appear in black and white. Sometimes you just need to take a leap of faith and end up hitting the ground face down!
At least it will make you stronger.
Madison Beer sings about how another girl came into their life and moved on with her. Madison was curious about him, but he shrugged her shoulders and said “don’t worry”. Looking back, she knows she should have been worried.
Madison Beer has nothing but wishes for the new couple;
And she must be perfect, well
Hope you both go to hell
