Madison Beer ushered in a new era in her music career with a brand new single “Reckless” from her upcoming second studio album. The brand new single is about a ruined relationship she was in.

“Reckless” is the first single from Madison Beer’s second studio album which has no title yet. Surprisingly, the new single and the announcement comes just three months after her debut album ‘Life Support’ released on February 26, 2021.

At Twitter, Madison Beer explained the inspiration behind the song; “I became reckless in October 2020 after discovering that my hunch is literally always right and if someone tells you not to care about someone else but your heart tells you you should… run.”

Madison Beer has no emotion saying this is a story she hates to talk about. She knows it breaks her every time to remember this story. But she lays her soul bare for the world. Maybe opening up about it could be the first step in the healing process.

“Reckless” tells a story as old as time. She falls in love with a guy. He tells her that he loves her and that he would never love anyone else. But the opposite is happening. The girl is shattered into a million pieces.

The sad part was that his friends could see right through him. But she believes him and defends him. At the end of the day, not only is she heartbroken, but she also looks like a jerk.

Love is blind and you have to check it three times before embarking on a commitment. It avoids a lot of heartache. But, of course, life is not that simple. It does not always appear in black and white. Sometimes you just need to take a leap of faith and end up hitting the ground face down!
