Imagine Dragons Drops “Believer” Remix with Lil Wayne (Lyrics Review)

After the critical acclaim of their album “Origins” in 2018, Imagine Dragons returned to their album “Evolve” in 2017. After all, the American rock band confessed that the album “Origins” is a sister album of ” Evolve”. However, this 2017 revisit returns with an exciting collaboration – Lil Wayne.

Imagine Dragons have released a remix of their 2017 hit “Believer” from the album “Evolve.” But this time, they have Louisiana-born rapper Lil Wayne on board. The new remix comes days after the band released a lyric video for “Bad Liar” from the “Origins” album.

Speaking in an interview, Dan Reynolds from Imagine Dragons said that “Believer” is “The first song I’ve ever written in my career that I can step back and say is just Imagine Dragons – coming from a place that’s truly authentic to us…” Therefore, inviting Lil Wayne on this track would have meant something special to the band.

Previously, the band worked with Kendrick Lamar to remix their hit “Radioactive.” The reception reserved for this remix was much more positive than the latter.

Lil Wayne jumps on the second verse of “Believer” and continues on a similar theme built by Imagine Dragons. It tells how much softer results are achieved by enduring much harder pain.

“I know that strength does not come without strategy
I know the candy, it don’t come without cavities
I know that crossings come with traffic”

Lil Wayne’s involvement in this remix comes months after the release of the highly anticipated ‘Tha Carter V’ album released in September 2018.
