The upcoming “Birds Of Prey” movie is expected to have a vibrant music track with contributions from artists such as Megan Thee Stallion, Halsey, Lauren Jauregui, Summer Walker, Doja Cat and more. As each song comes out of the OST, we realize why these artists are a perfect match for Harley Quinn’s chaos. Because they are; “Boss bitch.”
‘Birds Of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn)’ is an American superhero film based on the character of Harley Quinn, the Joker’s super-villain counterpart from the DC Batman series. This film follows on from the 2016 DC movie “Suicide Squad”, which also focused heavily on Harley Quinn. Famous actress Margot Robbie, who played Harley Quinn in “Suicide Squad”, will also portray the role in “Birds Of Prey”. The film is scheduled to premiere on February 7, 2020.
On “Boss B * tch” by Doja Cat, the rapper tells us who the boss is! But she is not a boss because she has too much bling on her, but because she is really bad! The clip directed by Jack Begert also features Margot Robbie, who plays Harley Quinn in the film, in her character.

Doja Cat begins the verse by saying that she is like no one else. She’s not the type to imitate others and swindle their fame. She admits that she is awkward and this has caused her to kiss the floor several times. But she’s badass. She remembers her first single “So High” and calls it a bop. And she is not only the cake, but also the icing on the cake.
Shaking a bottle to make it burst typically happens with carbonated drink bottles, which when shaken, the gas engulfs the bottle cap. In the context of the song, Doja Cat is perhaps referring to her skills which turned the musical game upside down and made her pop or an overnight superstar.
In these lyrics, Doja Cat yells at another boss in the game, Nicki Minaj. Kenneth is Nicki Minaj’s husband and Nicki Minaj prefers to call herself “Barbie”.
The backbend is a gymnastic movement where the spine is bent backwards so that the person can touch their own feet. This can be a thank you to Harley Quinn who is known for her flexible movements in her fights.
“The wrist full of stones and I hope I float” contains a double meaning. Literally, it refers to the old way of killing people by drowning. In order for the body to be anchored in the water, the person’s clothes are filled with heavy stones or the body will be tied to a heavy stone. However, Doja Cat might also hint at diamonds (“rocks”) on her wrists, making her float and gloat above everyone else.
These jerky lines underline the title of the song.
In the second verse of “Boss B * tch”, Doja Cat may be calling Megan Thee Stallion who is also featured on the “Birds Of Prey” soundtrack on a track called “Diamonds”. However, Doja Cat is called the stallion, a powerful horse, while his competitor is just a seahorse!
Doja Cat is such a patron that none of her photos are bad. Even the worst are gaining its press, so in the celebrity world, it’s good for business. It could be a reference to when Doja Cat went viral for her “bad wig” photos.
