Clean Bandit Premiers an Acoustic “Solo” Track with Demi Lovato (Review)

Clean Bandit created the new single “Solo” with a lot of potential with Demi Lovato a few weeks ago. This success may have prompted artists to convert this hardcore EDM track into an exactly opposite acoustic track.

At this time, “Solo” is not associated with any album work, however, it could end up on Clean Bandit’s next album. The original track is heavily based on EDM and digitally produced sounds and rhythms. An acoustic version of this song was totally unthinkable, and yet they did.

Releasing the acoustic cover of “Solo”, Clean Bandit also released a music video. However, this is the same video that was posted for the original, which only turned into black and white. Acoustic and black-and-white music videos go hand in hand.

As a result of this acoustic transformation, the artists had to sing the pieces that were inserted digitally and some parts were omitted altogether. Therefore, this version takes a new turn compared to the original.

Since we have a huge crush on acoustic music, we are inclined to call the acoustic cover of “Solo” better than the original. However, we’re sticking with that since the original had unique music digitized.
